Tom Simon, of Bay City, Michigan, had always enjoyed beer-can chicken. One day while cleaning out his wife’s pantry, he discovered a miniature bundt cake pan. Being adventurous and having a desire for beer-can chicken for supper, he took the bundt cake pan out to the shed and drilled some holes in the tower and the base. Placing it over an old pie pan filled with beer and using a simple barbecue rub, the cooked his chicken. The family was quite impressed and at that particular supper, and the Poultry Pal® Cooker was born.
